    2007年10月11日晚上我们团队准备乘船游览两江四湖在码头等船的时候有一个小偷差点偷了MRS.KOENEHOOP女士的相机。MRS。KOENEHOOP是我们的一位团员，当时她的数码相机的手链被一个中年男人用刀切断，小偷得到相机后马上快步离开并交给另外一个正在旁边桥上等着的小偷。这时MRS。KOENEHOOP才发现自己的相机不见了。我们的导游ANGELA（刘力源）观察到事情发生的全过程，她勇敢地追上那个小偷大声地要求他将相机还给客人，否则她将电话报警，小偷害怕事情闹大不得已拿出了相机。ANGELA将一件棘手危险地事情处理得巧妙完美，MRS。KOENEHOOP女士对ANGELA处理问题的快速、果断、勇敢深表感激，我们全体团员对ANGELA在危机时刻舍己为人的精神表示衷心的感激和赞扬，特此表彰！

Dear Morgen Mo,
The best things about the trip. The train to Lhasa was well worth the problems of trying to get the tickets. The train 

was immaculately clean, there were even fresh flowers in the toilet and they did not run out of toilet paper for the

 whole journey! They found the best English speaking assistant on the train and sent her to us to help in any way

 she could. The scenery was superb and the journey so relaxing that we did not need the oxygen. It was unfortunate

 that we could not use the dining car when we wanted as the views from there were much better for photos. 
The other really good thing was our excellent guide who spoke good English, was very knowledgeable and was

 prepared to be flexible and suggest really good alternatives to plans where things might be difficult. E.g. the visit to 

a farm in a village.
1. Tibetan New Year. This was an excellent time to go. We saw things that are otherwise not open. We saw 

everything bedecked with fresh bright prayer flags and were able to observe ceremonies only performed at this time. 

All the people were also in their best costumes. Although many of the shops and restaurants were closed we saw

 plenty and had good food. 
2. Questionnaire given to the guide. We gave the guide a more detailed questionnaire which I hope he passed on

 to you. At that time I had more details on me and we all pooled our comments for you. 
3. Thank you for all your help. I have learnt a lot from the trip and your help has been very valuable. Having our 

own driver and guide was so good. The train too was worth all the struggle to get it. 

What was the best thing about your trip? 
Everything went very smoothly. We were met by the guide  at each airport and escorted at each location with 

perfection. The hotels were all excellent and the  service outstanding. This was one of our best vacations.
3. How could China Highlights Travel have assisted you more?
 More instructions on altitude in Tibet. We would have been unprepared, but met a physician in Beijing who gave

 us advice and suggested we take medication Diamox, which we did to prevent altitude problems (which turned 

out OK)
One of the highlights of our trip was the People’s Park in Chengdu, where we saw local people exercising in the park (this was not on the agenda, but our guide,

 Ruth, took us there. She was excellent). The best show also turned out to be in Chendgu, where the guide took 

us to a dinner at a round pot and a show afterwards (which was not on itinerary; she worked extra hard and did

 this extra).
In general, we would have enjoyed more contact with local culture and people (such as Hutong, seminomad people 

in Tibet, etc) and maybe less monastaries, but it was very well done. 
Maybe the last day of our tour we could have gone from Shitatse, Tibet straight to airport and have an extra day in 

Shaghai (instead of spending the night in Lhasas again), but that was not a big deal. It was OK 

 all our trip, even the cold rain in some of the days. It was a nice part of the scenery. Now, I will try to answer your

 questions, even if you surely already  have some ideas and explanations in your guide inquiries.
 
1. We liked the fact that you organised all the travel keeping in with our free time, interests,  hobbies and fobies. And

 you did it in two days - unbelieveable. We also appreciated very much your guides in every town /kind and competent and willing to help in

 every case/. We enjoyed the entire schedule and the fact that we had had some ’’free time’’ for getting in touch with and feeling China by ourselves.
  
5. We had most of our pictures on paper so we can choose some we made with the film camera, to send to you. This

 is something my husband can do, so we have to wait a little. About some suggestions, if you think we could help 

someone with our own experience, please advise them to contact us by e mail or skipe. You have both our 

coordinates.

2. What was most disappointing?
Our only disappointment was that we did not have more time to further explore this part of China
3. How could China Highlights Travel have assisted you more?
 
The slight mix-up with the final payment was a concern and needs to be followed up to ensure that it could not occur again as this

 is what turns travellers off very quickly
4.Do you have any comments about your time there, and do you have any special suggestions you’d like to pass on to other travellers eg not-to-be-missed scenic attractions, shows, restaurants, hiking/cycling trips. Any special cautions about things to be careful 

about?
Our guide, Allen, was an absolute delight. He was friendly, knowledgeable, bright and had a great sense of humour.

 Along with our driver, they made every moment of our tour a highlight. His love for Beijing shows at all time and 

makes a very pleasant change. I would like to commend Allen at the highest level for making a holiday such a terrific 

experience. I would also like this feedback to be passed on to both Allen and our driver
 
The Beijing Duck dinner and the Kung Fu show were both a fantastic experience and should be promoted more by 

your company as features of the tour

We had a great time on our tour in China.
1.The whole trip,you did a great job planning this trip.
4.The Kungfu show,roasted duck at Qianmen Quanjude,Hutongs,Terra cotta warriors,Tang Dynasty show,Yangtze 

River cruise,& Shanghai.

wasn’t one problem. Our guides and drivers were all wonderful and were very punctual, caring and informative. Our guide

 in Chongqing, Fiona, was great. We wanted to change the itinerary a bit and she was extremely flexible and 

accommodating.
The Victoria boat was fantastic and both Ann and I were very grateful to you for upgrading us to this boat. We met

 lovely people and had a very memorable trip.
My dealings with you and your company have been very smooth from the very beginning and i will certainly call on

 you again the next time I travel to China.

arrangements were (sometimes even better than I did).  The river cruise was a great way to end the trip, especially

 after pushing ourselves the first few days to see all of the things that we wanted to see in Beijing and Xian.

1. What was the best thing about your trip? The great service we received from our guide, Linda, and our driver,

 Ricky. They made it so we didn’t have to worry about anything. We just went where they took us.

We had a wonderful trip and your organisation really helped us experience and enjoy our first trip to China.
We do have suggestions and also a vast amount of photos to highlight the magical places we visited.
We also kept a journal which we want to publish along with our photos.
We would love to do more travelling in China and perhaps we can do more of your guided trips with a view to adding

 information to your website for the foreigners wishing to embark on similar trips, perhaps at a reduced rate of travel 

from China Highlights for our work?

expectations!  We were a bit apprehensive about the tour since we were not using a travel agent and trusting that 

China Highlights was legitimate, since everything about your firm was only by way of the internet.   This was a big 

trip for us all and we really didn’t really know what to expect in China itself.   The best part of our trip which we did not realize from the start was in

 fact the tour guides and drivers you supplied us.  When we arrived in Beijing, Joy was right there with her sign in

 hand welcoming us to China.  As this was really a private tour we became very fond of her and depended on her 

in everything we did.  She took care of us in every detail from translating for us, taking us to all our activities and

 making sure we were well informed on everything.  She was like a mother looking after her children.  When we

 left Beijing we felt like we had left a very close friend. When we arrived in Shanghai we were once again met by 

Vivaldi.  What a fun fellow he was.  He took his job very seriously and made himself available to us 24 hours a day

 if we wanted.  He too took care of us in every way and was very good about trying to teach us the Chinese way

 and Chinese language.  Anything we wanted to do he was willing to do it with us.  These two guides treated us

 like royalty.   We will miss them both very much.   They both went above & beyond what was required or expected. 

  The other guides we had were wonderful as well, however, our time with them was limited and we didn’t get to know them as well as Joy and Vivaldi.  
**The Cruise down the Yantzee**  Had no idea how wonderful the suites were on the boat and the scenery and

 everything that went with the cruise was exceptional.
**Shopping at the Markets in Beijin, Shanghai and Hong Kong***   We enjoyed the bartering for all the treasures

 we purchased while in China & Hong Kong.

 KNOWLEDGEABLE ABOUT ALL THE PLACES WE WENT.  EVEN THOUGH WE HAD SEEN MOST SIGHTS BEFORE, 

HER INTEREST AND KNOWLEDGE MADE MOST REPEAT VISITS SEEM LIKE THE FIRST TIME WE WERE THERE.

 Beijing "Travel Inn" in the Hutongs area , was very very good.
The room was very clean,with hot water; staff was very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was very nice. So,

please recommend it for other guests stopping in Beijing!

Hi Elaine-
I just wanted to let you know that we had a wonderful trip to Taishan.
It’s really a spectaculoar place (although our legs are really sore from
walking down the mountain!  We are really happy we did it though.)
Mary was very nice, very enthusiastic and helpful in all things.  Everything
really went smoothly with the airline, meeting Mary & our driver, and so forth.
and we really, really  liked the Dai Temple and Puzhaou Temples--maybe a little
quiet for some tourists, but so beautiful and peaceful.  All our meals were 
very good and mary and our driver were very accomodating when we wanted to stop 
and take pictures in town of just everyday life.
The only thing I would say is that the state of the hotel was pretty shocking!  
The room itself was okay (except for the shower thing--which we expected), and the location was incredible, but we had to pick our way through construction debris, dirt 

floors, bare light bulbs, and hanging pipes and wires to get to our room.  Less flexible foreign tourists
might have been really unhappy with the situation.  Also, you should probably tell people
what to expect in terms of weather, and how much step climbing is involved with getting 
to the hotel.  We had just small knapsacks, so it was okay, but I kept imagining my seventy year old parents trying

 to get up those steps with a suitcase.  It would have been impossible.
Anyway, we had a great time and loved Mt. Tai and I woulod recommend your company and a very professional 

and trustworthy one.

 such a delight and very knowledgeable from history to politics to economy of Shanghai! We really wished we stayed

 more in Shanghai too.  Sam was great company but being a bloke he is a little more quiet.
As for our travel photos, I will send them as soon as we have downloaded it! 
Also, I will forward your details to a friend of mine as he and his family are thinking of going to China sometime next

 year and I highly recommended your tour.

  They supplied a driver and English-speaking guide, and a wonderful car (with seat belts).  We went every other day rather than every day - and it worked out great.  Our guide picked us up at the appointed time each day.  She was always there - we were driven right up to the gates, etc.  Very very good service.  You can plan what you want to do with Ryan - they also have service in Shanghai and the outer places.  He was really good to work with.  Don’t forget the duck dinner.  It was wonderful - a real treat.  Tell Ryan I said "HI".  Oh Yes - they picked us up at the airport and delivered us back there at the end of our trip.
We stayed at the Peninsula Palace which is the best in China.  It might be too steep for you as you will be going in

 regular season, but give it a try - ask them for their specials.  It’s really a wonderful place.  If you don’t stay there, at least try to eat there.  There is a Korean Hotel (I think that’s the name) across the street.  It’s much cheaper, but not as elegant.  This is walking distance from the Forbidden City and just a block from wonderful 

shopping.  Look it up on the net.  I worked through the following address - laurel@peninsula.com.  She will help you.  The club floor is best!!
You will want to see Miss Woo - at the Pearl Market.  More of that later.  Her booth is #126.

go well - is even more rare!
However Leon of China-highlights deserves some special recognition as his service is way above the level of any I have experienced .... from 

any travel company ... in any country (and I have used a lot)!
His English is excellent, as is his efficiency, and his speedy and very helpful replies. His judgment and suggestions 

have always checked out and been great too. I have been corresponding with him for some months about some 

detailed and complex travel plans spread over 3months for 2 couples. 
In short he as an asset to your company, and I am sure that he should - and will - go far.
I would be pleased if you share this e-mail with him...and I am looking forward to the trips that he is booking for me in China in May,September and October.

perfect tour guide and we wish her all the best for the future.
Even though our plane from Hong Kong was two hours late and arrived at 10pm Sissie and the driver Mr Wong were

 there to meet us with a pleasant smile and good humour while taking us to our hotel. Sissie organised for us to be 

ready at 8.00am the next morning and took us on the Li River cruise which we all enjoyed (even the lunch on the 

boat!) We took many photos and videos and met interesting people from all parts of the world. 
Sissie was a great help when trying to communicate with shop assistants and other people selling souvenirs at the 

Reed Flute Cave and also at Elephant Hill Park.  We all climbed to the top of Fubo Hill and enjoyed the view of Guilin 

and surrounding districts.  Sissie then took us to lunch in a local restaurant where we enjoyed the meal and cold 

beer and warm Sprite (in Australia all the drinks are served cold – because the weather is mostly hot). 
Sissie’s attention to detail and timing was appreciated when we had to return to the airport 4 hours earlier than our 

schedule due to a change in flights and also her help in locating the correct people for our new tickets. Sissie&nb, sp;made 

sure we passed through immigration and customs safely before leaving us.  We were all very sad to say goodbye to

 Sissie and would welcome her if she could ever come to Australia for a visit.
Thanks Che, ryl again for your assistance and for arranging our trip. We had no problems with our communications

 and you explained everything in our many emails. Payment for the trip via Paypal worked very well and without

 problems.
We will always recommend Chinahighlights to our friends who visit China.

I sure missed corresponding&nb, sp;with you.  Sorry it took so long to get back to
you.  We had a wonderful&, amp;, nbsp;time. It was a trip we will always treasured and
always remember in a very fond way. We thought that the weather will hamper
us since we went during Christmas time and it was really cold!! But we 
still  had a wonderful time!! The weather contributed to the mystic part of China.To answer you, r questions:
1 The best , , thing about the trip.
Since language was a problem your guides were the best.  They assisted in
everything.  They made our trip, all the communication, the entrances etc 
so easy.  They even help us by writing down info in Chinese for the times that we were not with them so that we

 could get around specially with the 
taxi’s.There is no way that we could have done this trip without the guides. They were essential to our trip, very helpful 

and very informative. We loved them all. We also think that the tour organizer (Angela Gong) did a terrific job in all 

the advice and suggestions she gave us. She was also available for us to call her when we were stranded in Yichang 

and did not know if someone will pick us up in Shanghai.  (This was a holiday when we contacted her and she 

was ava, ilable to assist us)
4. Any special suggestions
We loved the Summer Palace.  We would have liked to stay longer at the
Hutong in Beijing, specially the restaurants, pups and shops,  but it was
just too cold. We loved Xian and also would like to have spend more time there (maybe next time... We absolutely<, /P>

 loved the Yangtze river cruise.That was out of this world!!
5. Being a reference?
We would love to recommend China Highlights for a trip to China. We loved
the professionalism but also the personal contact.  It felt if I and the
tour organizer became friends in the whole organizing process. We loved all
the&, nbsp;recommendations and we would be happy to talk to potential clients.  We would send you a picture of our
